Fenix LED flashlight PD25R

The Fenix PD25R rechargeable pocket flashlight offers up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 250 meters. It is powered by a rechargeable RCR123A battery (included) that charges directly in the flashlight via a USB-C connector located on the side. The charging hole is covered with a screw nut, so it is perfectly protected against water and dirt. The battery can also be replaced with a disposable CR123A battery in an emergency. The light source used is the high-end LED Luminus SST-20 with a lifetime of 50,000 hours. The flashlight end is equipped with a tactical switch for quick on and off, the power modes are switched by a second button on the side. The luminaire has six light modes, including a flash strobe. In the lowest mode, it can stay lit for up to 70 hours. Weighing only 78 grams, the flashlight can be carried at all times (EDC) for normal everyday use, at work and during sports.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shockproofness) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use

There may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery pack at the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.

To switch on, press the tactical switch located at the end of the flashlight, hold the button for immediate activation. When the flashlight is on, press the side button near the head of the flashlight to toggle between power modes at any time during operation. Hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds to switch to strobe mode.

Charging - Unscrew the protective nut under the head of the flashlight and use the included USB-C cable to plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or USB car adapter (not included). Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED in the button glows red, when fully charged it glows green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time. During charging, the flashlight can only be switched on in the lowest mode by holding the side button for 0.5 seconds.

Intelligent overheating protection - if the temperature of the luminaire rises above 60 °C, it automatically starts to reduce the power in gradual steps.

Indication of the battery charge status - each time the lamp is switched on, the indication LED in the side button is activated for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining (only works when using the RCR123A / 16340 Li-ion battery).

Low battery warning - the flashlight gradually switches automatically to the lowest mode, then the indicator LED in the button flashes red in the lowest mode. This indicates the need to charge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed section in the lamp head yourself, this will breach the warranty.
• Use only good quality CR123A or RCR123A batteries.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the lantern flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• The battery is almost dead - charge the battery or replace it.
• The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
• The back of the lamp is loose - tighten it.

Warranty five years for the luminaire, two years for the battery.
